Friday 1st May
The sun is shining and the wind has dropped for our last morning at Flatford. The children have packed, eaten breakfast and are now raring to begin their last activity before they can return to tell their stories.
Friday group
Mrs Shambrook

Ennion Group have been exploring habitats and invertebrates this morning. With a variety of nets and collecting pots, groups have been carefully collecting specimens to compare.
Ennion Bugs
We learnt how animal habitats can be damaged by land being needed for housing and roads, or used for farming. We played a game where different animals had to collect food without being caught by builders!

Bingley were very competitive as they set out on their orienteering task. With nothing but compasses, maps and a set of clues (and of course…water), they trekked across the National Trust land.
The Minnion group won the challenge with the best overall score - even after three of the boys, including George and Thomas, had to run all of the way back up the huge hill to retrieve their map! Well done Minnions!
